Nurafrina Amirah Badrol Hisham, originally from Kuala Lumpur is an ACCA full time student with her journey since Certified Accounting Technician (CAT) level. Nurafrina is also a recipient of one of the major scholarships in Malaysia.
Nurafrina shared with us that she felt anxious when taking APM as it is deemed to be one of the most difficult papers for ACCA. She realised that even though she was confident with her understanding of the topics, she may lack the required exam techniques in attempting the paper. Thus, she joins TYMBA.
Nurafrina says she really enjoyed APM class with Sir Hazrul as he would attempt each topic that had been tested in the previous sittings together with the students. The discussion in the class definitely helped her in forming own ideas to answer the exam questions.
One of the things that she was grateful the most was the fact that Sir Hazrul has come out with the list of ‘Focus Topics’, along with the compilation of past year questions analysis, by chapters. The pressure was indeed high a few weeks before the exam, but she religiously attempted all the suggested questions to the point that she could somehow see the patterns of questions being tested. Arif Azhan Rashdan, originally from Kuala Lumpur is an alumnus of International Islamic University of Malaysia (IIUM). He graduated with a bachelor’s Degree in Accounting back in August 2021. During his period of degree studies, he performed tremendously and was also active in co curricular activities.

These services are worth RM25,900 and most importantly, in the unlikely event students fail their examination, students can re-enroll for the class for free.
The difference between Masterclass & UGP is that Masterclass is an 88 contact hours course per subject. It consists of the class and in-class support only. While UGP is a whole end-to-end support service that covers the whole spectrum of students ACCA qualifications journey from learning, planning, managing, intervening and graduating with skills required by the industry. All that students need to do is study and focus on passing. The rest, covered by TYMBA.

It depends on how many subjects you subscribe under UGP programme. For every subject enrolled for the Applied Skills module, you will be granted a 4 months timeline and 6 months timeline for every Strategic Professional module.
Note that all perks will be available to be accessed up until you pass all your papers OR once timeline is due to end (whichever comes first). Access will be revoked once you have passed all your ACCA papers.

Applied Skills (4 months per subject)
- 2 papers – 8 months ie 3 exam sittings
- 3 papers – 12 months ie 4 exam sittings
- 4 papers – 16 months ie 6 exam sittings
- 5 papers – 20 months ie 7 exam sittings
- 6 papers – 24 months ie 8 exam sittings
Strategic Professional (6 months per subject)
- 2 papers – 12 months ie 4 exam sittings

Your performance will be monitored closely to overview your readiness for the final examination. You will be joining a 3 months class however if performance does not reach a satisfactory level, you will be automatically deferred to the next exam sitting and enrolled for 6 months programme. Additional classes can be requested depending on tutor availability. (Yet to impose – Additional fees may be imposed for additional 30 hours tutorial in between the 6 months programme.)
Yes, you can at a minimum of 2 subjects. It is advisable to subscribe all remaining papers left for your ACCA of your current module level (Applied Knowledge – 3 papers, Applied Skills – 6 papers, Strategic Professional – 4 papers). This is to ensure that you get the best study plan from TYMBA.
In the unlikely event of failing the exam, you can re-enroll for Masterclass / Sprintclass for free as long as it is within the timeline subscribed by students.
If you exceed the timeline set, you are required to re-enroll for UGP, Masterclass or Sprintclass if you want to continue enrolling for classes. This will require additional payment for the class.
For every subject, students will only get BPP resources once. Repeating will not grant you BPP books again for the same subject.
There will be an upfront payment required to be made which you can choose between 25%, 50% or 100% of the total amount. From this, it will determine the monthly instalment you will incur.
Yes, you are required to pay again the RM100 except for students who transition from Applied Knowledge module to Applied Skills module OR Applied Skills module to Strategic Professional module.
It depends on how many subjects you subscribe to under UGP programme, instalment period will be prorated. Refer schedule below instalment period:

The first upfront payment & registration and admin fees will be required to be made upon registration. For 1st monthly instalment payment, we will send a payment link via email on the 1st day of the subsequent month after registration. This link requires students to authorise automatic disbursement of the payment. Students will be charged every 1st of the subsequent month automatically after authorising it.
Students can pay the upfront payment by using their card, FPX and e-wallets. For instalment payment, students are required to use a card.
Students can cancel their subscription by requesting it with our support team. Access to UGP perks will be revoked once the semester ends. Students will be charged for their monthly subscription payment until the semester ends (ie exam date) and access is revoked.
Any payments made are non-refundable nor transferable.
Any payment made more than classes attended are non-refundable and any payment less than than the number of classes attended are required to be paid upon end of semester.
TYMBA will register for UGP students examination. We will send an invitation to join our ACCA exchange account which is a system that will help to register for students’ exams. Exam details confirmation email will also be sent which requires students to give confirmation and make payment to TYMBA for us to do the exam booking.
TYMBA will start issuing exam details confirmation email 1 month before the ACCA exam standard entry deadline. Students are required to make payment within 14 days after the email is sent.
